About

We’re Jessi and Skyler—also known as Ace and Allo—the voices behind the Allo and Ace podcast. Together we explore what it really looks like to navigate a relationship where one partner is allosexual and the other is asexual. Our goal is to create an open, compassionate, and honest space where mixed-orientation couples can feel seen, learn, and laugh along the way.

Our story starts in 2018, when we found each other after previous marriages and combined our two families into what we lovingly call the “Bonus Bunch.” With six kids between us—Jessi’s three and Skyler’s three—we learned early on that communication, flexibility, and humor were going to be our superpowers.

About five-ish years into our relationship, Jessi discovered she was asexual. It was a moment that shifted our understanding of ourselves, our partnership, and the way we approached intimacy. When we looked for guidance, we couldn’t find another podcast hosted by an actual allosexual/asexual couple talking about the real, day-to-day conversations these relationships require. So we decided to create the resource we wished we had.

That’s how Allo and Ace was born—a place for candid, respectful conversations about sexuality, identity, communication, boundaries, and the messy, beautiful work of loving each other well.

And our story is still growing. In 2025, we welcomed Indie, the newest addition to our family—our little tie-that-binds who connects all six of our “bonus kids” together.

Whether you’re ace, allo, questioning, partnered, single, or just curious, we’re glad you’re here. Pull up a chair—let’s talk.
